Graham got his second tooth this morning, but that's not what is so precious.
Did I tell you that I taught Graham how to hug me? Sometimes when he's laying down somewhere I sing this song and we do the actions:
Sit up and
Stand up and
Give mom a hug and
Lay back down.
So, as you can see, the hugging was just part of the song that happened to stick in other circumstances. Now he puts his arms around my neck sometimes and I reinforce it by saying something like Are you giving mom a hug? Guess what he does now. When Graham gets tired I put in his pacifier and sit with him leaning against my chest. Then he will put his arms around my face or neck and press his forehead against my face. As he's falling asleep, he often twirls the hair at the nape of my neck with his left hand. It is absolutely the most precious, heart melting thing that he's done with me so far.
