Biryani Boy
Graham was seriously chowin' on some Indian food last night. Nathan and I were dying for ethnic food, so we gulped and took G to the India Pavillion last night. You know when they bring out the crunchy flatbread cracker-like stuff and tamarind sauce (I call it raisin sauce cuz that's what it tastes like)? Well, G was ok with the flatbread, but when he dipped it in the sauce it was all over. I had put some Kix and Goldfish on his mat before all that had arrived and he was dipping those in the sauce, too. The manager kept bringing him more flatbreat to dip. Then, for dinner, I was going to order steamed vegetables for G, but the manager convinced me to let him share my vegetable biryani. Boy doesn't typically eat rice, but I thought we'd try it. Well, he LOVED it!!! It was flavorful and full of veggies. I think he had eaten more than I had by the end. We had people at other tables commenting on how well he was eating and the manager was just tickled at how much he liked everything. When I was talking with some people at another table, the manager came over and commented on how Graham was dipping his Goldfish in the tamarind sauce. Graham was very happy the rest of the evening and slept very well. Mommy and Daddy are excited at the prospect of possibly being able to eat Indian food again some day.

Chrissy: The kid's got good taste ^_^ I love chicken biryani!
Yeah, I think were going to have to go back and try some other dishes or the manager might be personally offended.
