Fall Festival is a time to branch out
It's that time of year again. We went to our first fall festival. Graham and I went to Way Fruit Farms with my friend, Linda, and her father, Don. Compared to last year, Graham was much more interested in what the festival had to offer. He was eager to try things that he has traditionally been very timid about.
So, despite falling asleep in the car on the way there, he really got into it once we saw the bunnies. He giggled as they darted around, and he actually asked to hold one.
Then the inflatable caught his eye... watch out! This would be his first inflatable, but he got in there like he was a pro, fussing at me the whole time we had to wait in line. Luckily, he went in with some younger kids. There was one little boy who kept helping him up when he fell... so sweet! After that we relaxed with the obligatory apple dumpling with ice cream.
After a romp through the pumpkins and a turn on the wooden tractor, he went inside to play in the dried corn box (imagine a sand box, but with dried corn instead of sand). Linda and her dad are professional photographers, so I'm hoping they got some good pics, but I included a few of my own here. It was another successful fall adventure!
