Graham and his buddies

You can see in the picture to the right, Graham is really starting to bond with his new best buddy, his baby brother. He has gotten much more involved in all things that get him to stop crying, ex. rocking in the swing and getting him his pacifier. He has also asked to hold him much more recently. No more talk of "returning" him to the store, so that's good.

Nick came to visit recently. Those boys were crazy energy times two. I've never seen Graham so non-stop in my life. They went sledding, sword fought, shared their favorite toys. By Sunday afternoon Graham was a cranky mess. Then we found out that Nick slept three hours on the way home and we knew from whence the fussiness came. So it was a good cranky ;-)

Last weekend Graham went ice skating for the first time with his buddy and babysitter, Kaila. I sat like a fool on the sidelines laughing my head off all by myself. The first time they went around the wall very slowly. Then the ice had to be cleaned so Graham got his footing on the mats. When they went back out, he told Kaila that he wanted to do it by himself and he was off. I felt bad for her because she had to chase his slippery butt all over the ice. I was amazed at how quickly he picked it up and how bravely (and with a giggle) he kept skating after every slip and every fall. Who is this new big boy?
