As of this weekend, Danielle is 75% through the pregnancy. She's made it through 30 weeks and is down to the final 10. We've put the week count on the calendar marking the countdown to March 31st. While it seems she's been pregnant forever (according to her) it is also starting to get pretty crazy as we realize all the stuff we need to do to prepare for the new family member.
Naming this little guy has been far from easy. We have no final name yet. It's pretty difficult trying to find a name that is (a) not going to get him beat up in middle school, (b) not so normal that he is constantly looking when someone else is being called, (c) doesn't lend to an embarassing nickname (i.e. Richard), or (d) sounds like something we would want to call our child. Danielle is using the 'public scream' rule. She wants to be able to yell his name in public without being embarassed or drawing the attention of 25 like-named individuals.
We've gotten plenty of great ideas. I guess we have 70 days now to figure out what it will be. I can only say at this point that it won't be Otto, that one is taken. Please help us out by taking part in our poll that is on our homepage. :-)
