So we've loved Austin over the past 3.5 years because of the great weather. Well so much for global warming, as we've been stuck in the house for the past 2 days due to ice and snow. Austin, to say the least, is not equipped for this stuff. They have roads shut down this morning because they are running out of salt, and the airport is canceling flights because it is running out of de-icing materials.
We're hunkered down and doing fine. Otto is loving that we are both home all day, and Danielle is enjoying no school (read that: she is asleep right now). As for me, we've got an internet connection so I'm working remotely.
