We attribute this most recent development to Graham's time spent back east where the attention was as plentiful as the carpeting - which we don't have at our house. Before we left Austin he was only moving backwards - a giant frustration for him. Since we've been home he's been putting one hand forward and then the other and landing on his belly. He might repeat this process in order to reach his target, but he never made more than those two crawls forward. Now he is crawling further and further and boy, is he proud of himself. We play this game where I stack his soft blocks a couple of feet from him and he crawls to knock them down. We play this game several times in a row because he keeps wanting to go after those blocks. He has been so frustrated and now he revels in forward motion. I'm happy that he's so pleased.
