A Love of Blue's Clues

I apologize in advance if you are not familiar or care to be familiar with Blue's Clues.

Graham has a borderline obsession with Blue's Clues. He watches it every morning before daycare. Unbeknownst to us, while Nathan and I have been running around getting ready, Graham has been memorizing the whole show. He knows every song, hand gesture and dance move. He sees "clues" everywhere around town and it took us a few times to realize that the Nittany Lion pawprint is actually a Blue's Clue pawprint. So we went and bought him a palm-sized magnet that we hide around the house. When he sees it, he shouts out, "A clue!" All he needed was his handy-dandy notebook (or boatbook as he calls it). Well, after several Target, Walmart, and Dollar Store runs, we finally scored a suitable green note pad that elicited a boatbook reaction. I cut out a "thinking chair" and attached it to the front. Well, this notebook has magically attached itself to the boys hand over the past days. He'll be in another room and we hear him going through the whole notebook routine from the show with notebook in hand. He will feverishly repeat "Handy-dandy notebook. Oh a notebook!" 5-6 times in succession. We just have to laugh because he's living in a Blue Clue's world most of the time. I guess there could be worse places.
