It is amazing how much Graham is learning how to do in such short periods of time. Since my last blog he is starting to smile when you smile at him or call out to him. This is what we term "return on the investment". We're actually getting some feedback that is directed specifically at us and not the imaginary amusements dangling around our heads. He is beginning to purposefully play with his toys. We put the tray across his swing and attached some of his little noisemakers to it. Now he's over there swinging at them with wide eyes and the occasional wider smile.
Our next big adventures are: 1) going to the pool and actually getting in the water (he's not quite fitting in the swim diapers yet), 2) sitting forward in the stroller without having to be in the carseat and 3) flying on an airplane. I think he's up for the challenges!
