Today was G's last day of the winter session music class. They sang Happy Birthday to him since his birthday falls between sessions. It kinda reminded me of having a birthday during summer. Luckily for Graham, though, he will have many years of having his friends wish him a happy birthday on his actual birthday.
This session was a blast for Graham. Instead of being a frustrated blob of baby on the carpet, Graham was really able to participate in class. He could: crawl around to visit with the other kids and mommies, get to the instruments without me retrieving them for him, go play on the drum with the teacher, and make what I'll describe as the Indian war sound from old westerns - you know when you smack your hand against your mouth in rapid succession. G was very brave and rarely ever clung to me in class. He was a good classmate, eager to hear the guitar and he would even use his own vocal cords from time to time.
