... I was busy getting both of our dinners ready. I had his plate ready on the counter as I finished mine, so I gave him a piece of food. He started whining and I saw him put his index finger to his mouth. I reinforced the sign and gave him another bite. He made the motion with his pointer finger six or seven times.
We had been using the
sign for eat which is all the fingers on one hand pushed to your mouth. I guess he just modified it a little. I'm curious if he does it again.

Yay, how cool! 11 months is around the time that Jackson started signing as well. It really picked up after he turned a year. I bet Graham will be signing a lot more real soon!
That's good to hear! Hopefully something significant with the signing will really click here pretty soon.
How cool is that! It really cuts down on the frustration when babies can communicate. You guys are doing such an amazing job as parents. I'm so proud of you.
Love you,
Mom
