I think we'll keep him...

... I mean the 6 month warranty has expired and we have to make a decision here. And he is the most perfectly wonderful boy born on March 26th, so there's no way we would run the risk of a trade-in.

I think six months has been some kind of closed doorway in my mind. I haven't thought much past it as I look to endure the day by day of raising this baby with very little experience or knowledge under my belt. Now with every new move Graham makes and new look of recognition on his face, I think the best is yet to come. So as we open the door into his seventh month I have no expectations except that each new development will be a wonder to the whole family.

I guess if I had to characterize Graham's sixth month, I would use the words self expression. He was able to let us know what he liked and didn't like much better than before. We can tell when he's tired or when his gums are hurting him. He cries on his walk, only when there are no cars coming his way, so now we know to take him on the busy roads. We know that he likes watching kids play and he would prefer to stand than sit any day. He turned his head away from bananas and oatmeal but kinda likes them mixed together. Sometimes he'll lean over towards mom to hold him and sometimes towards dad. And his laugh is a daily goal. His deep laugh spurts out at words like "butt" and "poop" and movements like being thrown in the air or spun in a circle. Finally, he shakes his hands and feet and smiles when he hears the first notes to each song on his CD from his music class.

Yeah, I think we'll definitely keep him.
