The Shriek

Graham has found his shriek. No, not the tired shriek or the hungry shriek, but what I term the What do you mean..? shriek. Like What do you mean you're not going to pick me up immediately? or What do you mean I have to be strapped into my stroller? or What do you mean you want to put pajamas on me before bed? To be fair, the shriek gives fair warning. It usually starts with an extended whine and arching of the back. This lets the parent know that s/he has about 5 seconds to pick the boy up before shriek commences. And I do mean the shriek commences. There's no passing Go here; it is as if he has been stung by a bee - swift and to the point. Graham's favorite place to shriek is in the store as his parent is trying to get some type of shopping done. I'm sure if you're interested, Graham will share his shriek with you next time you see him.

Ah, the shriek! I can totally sympathize! By the way, little Jackson says HOWDY to his friend Graham. He hopes to see him soon!
